Kenneth Cooper Alexander, president of the family-owned Metropolitan Funeral Service, is a Norfolk native who has earned several appointed and elected public positions during his public service career, which began more than two decades ago.

Priorities

Listening will be a hallmark of my tenure as mayor. I want to help turn best ideas ― from wherever they come ― into best practices. Just as our citizens need our city government for services, City Hall needs to enthusiastically welcome the participation of citizens.
